Whatever the affliction and Rabindranath had his full share he never succumbed to morbidity which he considered as a disease of the mind worse than any disease of the body . जितनी भी पीड़ा या जितना भी दुख था , रवीन्द्रनाथ को उन सबका पूरा पूरा अंश मिला हुआ था.मृत्यु-भय को वे तन के रोग से कहीं अधिक बुरा मन का रोग समझते थे .
